When you reserve the entire estate, the gates close behind you.
The house doesn’t take other guests. The schedule isn’t shared. The fire is lit when you say it’s time.

No other guests
Only your party, for the whole of your stay.
Your schedule
Meals, outings and arrivals set to your rhythm.
Dedicated staff
Chef, housekeeping and one point of contact.
Complete privacy

The bedrooms · up to twelve guests
Every room is yours.
Six chambers in the bungalow and the Carriage House Cottage in the garden, each with its own character, and every one of them held for your party.
The Highlands Suite and the Pekoe Room join through a dressing room as a family wing for 6–8, and three rooms are step-free throughout: the Founder’s Suite, the Highlands Suite and the cottage.
An imagined rhythm, shaped entirely around your party.
6:30AM
6:30 AM · The Morning Room
Mist on the verandah
Early tea in the Morning Room, where the light comes through tall windows and every stay begins. The house is still quiet, the hill country slowly waking.
8:00 AM · The Long Table
Breakfast for twelve
At the heart of the house: estate tea, eggs, fresh fruit and local breads, the talk drifting between trail plans and lazy garden mornings.
9:30 AM · The Verandah
The day splits
Some leave for Pekoe Trail Stage 2 with packed lunches; others take a guided estate walk, or stay on the long verandah with a book. By one, a long lunch of rice and curry is laid out here.
4:00 PM · The Private Pool & Garden
An afternoon at the pool
The hikers come back tired and triumphant. Foot soaks on the verandah, a long swim in the stone-edged pool among the jasmine, and tea that appears unprompted.
6:30 PM · The Planter’s Lounge
The fire is lit
The original stone hearth, leather armchairs worn soft by a century of evenings, Ceylon arrack, and conversations that stretch on.
Before dinner · The Evening Salon
Candlelight through the arches
Through twin arches, the salon: aperitifs, candlelight, and the kind of conversation that only happens when nobody else is in the house.
8:00 PM · The Tea Pavilion
Dinner under lanterns
A covered pavilion beyond the verandah, the garden quiet, and a long, slow meal cooked in the open by your private chef, each course arriving in its own time.
10:30 PM · The Billiards Room
Snooker, mist, sleep
A last frame in the old estate kitchen while the mist settles outside. Then everyone to their rooms, the fire crackling down, and the estate silent.
